Unlike multi-tile arrays that introduce seam vulnerabilities, this is a single-piece monolithic ceramic plate. There are zero internal seams, zero adhesive joints, and zero discontinuity zones within the 200x200mm protected area.
When appropriately backed with UHMWPE or aramid composite, this plate meets NIJ Level IV threat protection requirements. Our pressureless sintered SiC achieves 2550+ HV hardness economically—making monolithic protection accessible at a fraction of the cost of monolithic B4C, which is technically impractical at this scale.
